I watched the inaguration last night and was proud of our Nation and it’s new president. Didn’t vote for him, wouldn’t again, but I know he will do his best and I feel like he’s a good man. Rick Warren’s prayer covering Obama and his family ws well pointed and appropriate. Amid all the backlash from every side, Warren clearly and appropriately kicked off this presidency with a point back to the author and finisher of all things.
I only wish the rest of Obama’s supporters would take seriously his charge to act like adults instead of children. My heart breaks at the disrespect and ire directed at our departing leader. Never in our nation’s history has the outgoing administration endured such words and deeds as has been seen in the last day.
